Peninsula Music Festival’s February Fest Returns

The Peninsula Music Festival’s February Fest will return to the Kress Pavilion, 7845 Church St. in Egg Harbor, on Feb. 6, 13 and 20. The one-hour performances will begin at 2 pm.

Two esteemed members of the Festival Orchestra – violist Thomas Kluge and principal keyboardist Christi Zuniga – will kick off the winter chamber-music series Feb. 6 with an exciting program featuring works by Mozart and Franck.

The Feb. 13 concert will welcome back Festival Orchestra principal trumpet Terry Everson and his son, fellow trumper Peter Everson, who has previously played with the orchestra and studied with his father at Boston University’s School of Music. They will collaborate with pianist Colin Welford on works by Vivaldi, Holloway, Ketting, Hansen, Johnson, Hubeau, Stephenson and Everson.

The final concert on Feb. 20 will feature Jonathan Bass, a Washington Island native, virtuoso and recipient of the festival’s 2019 George Verheyden Memorial College Scholarship. This blockbuster program will feature works by Price, Schuman, Rachmaninoff, Chopin and Debussy.

Proof of full vaccination will be required of all patrons at all performances during the 70th-anniversary season. In the absence of vaccination proof, a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of the performance time will be accepted. Masks will be required inside for the duration of every performance.

Tickets for individual performances are $30 per adult and $10 per student. Purchase series subscriptions for $75 at 920.854.4060. Attendance will be limited to 100 tickets per concert. Make reservations by calling 920.854.4060 or visiting musicfestival.com
