Peninsula Music Festival’s February Fest Returns with Three Concerts

Shepherd of the Bay Lutheran Church in Ellison Bay will again host February Fest – the Peninsula Music Festival’s Chamber Music Series – on Feb. 8, 15 and 22, 2020. Performances will begin at 2 pm, run 60-70 minutes and conclude with a short reception. 

Kicking off the series on Feb. 8 will be Festival Orchestra members Eric Olson, principal oboe; and Ellen Caruso Olson, violist. Pianist Sara Bong will join them for a stellar program featuring works by Watkins, Bach, White, Gershwin, Morris and Mozart. 

The Feb. 15 concert welcomes back Susanna Self, the Festival Orchestra’s principal flutist, for a solo recital with pianist and collaborator Susan Wenckus. Repertoire will include works by Bach, Schumann, Griffes and Mozart. 

The Feb. 22 concert will feature the Stellio Trio: violinist Yoorhi Choi, cellist Andrew Byun and pianist Hyejin Joo.
