Peninsula Players Theatre Hosts Events in Conjunction with “Sherlock Holmes: The Final Adventure”

Peninsula Players Theatre announces the next three sessions in its popular series of public seminars. Company members, and one notable guest, will present inside perspectives on the Players’ season and other theatrical topics. This free series of seminars, which requires advance reservations, will be presented in the Players Rehearsal Hall from 2:30 – 4 pm each Saturday through the end of Sherlock Holmes: The Final Adventure, now playing.

Dates and topics include: Sept. 20, Joe Foust leads stage combat; Sept. 27, Greg Vinkler will lead Shakespeare seminar; and Oct. 4, Henry Zecher presents on William Gillette.

The public is also welcome to take part in free backstage tours, taking place September 21, October 5, and October 12.

“In addition to hearing the history of the Players, patrons will go backstage to see the dressing rooms, costumes and set of Sherlock Holmes: The Final Adventure,” said Audra Baakari Boyle, Players Business Manager.

The Players perform Tuesdays through Saturdays at 8 pm and Sundays at 7 pm with a matinee performance at 4 pm, Sunday October 19. Ticket prices are $32.25 and $29.
