The Peninsula Singers are celebrating the return of warmer weather with It Might as Well Be Spring – a concert of folk songs, gospel medleys and beloved show tunes – April 30, 3 pm.
The performance, co-directed by Janet Anderson and Mary Hall, includes guest appearances by instrumentalists Andy Anderson, trumpet; Beth Chafey-Hon, violin; Rich Higdon, upright bass; and Dave LeBrun, drum set; as well as several high school students representing Sevastopol, Southern Door and Sturgeon Bay. The concert will take place at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 1756 Michigan St. in Sturgeon Bay. A suggested donation of $10 will be taken at the door. Find out more at facebook.com/tpsvocal.
