Peninsula Singers to Begin Rehearsals Sept. 26

If you love choral music, can sing in harmony, and have a good sense of rhythm along with the ability to learn words and music, join The Peninsula Singers on Sept. 26 as they begin rehearsing for their annual Christmas concerts.

Artistic Director Merle Colburn said, “We will visit some works previously presented along with several new numbers. We will also continue to have audience participation songs as we did at last year’s Christmas concerts.”

The first rehearsal of the new season will be held at the Sturgeon Bay United Methodist Church on Sept. 26. Signup and socializing begins at 6:15 pm, and singing starts at 7 pm. All rehearsals are held at the Sturgeon Bay United Methodist Church from 7 to 9 pm, leading up to the two concerts on Dec. 10 and 11. Dues are $25 per season, but may be waived for anyone with a financial hardship. For more information visit
