Peninsula State Park of Door County Hosts Gettysburg Address Reading

The public is invited to attend a recitation of the Gettysburg Address on July 3 at 10 am at the Peninsula State Park’s White Cedar Nature Center. Charles Dickson will share Abraham Lincoln’s famous three-minute speech. Park staff and young campers will raise the flag.

Following the short program, children are invited to learn about salamanders and go on a red, white and blue salamander hunt. (All critters will be released back to the woods.) This program is free and open to the public but a state park vehicle sticker is required.
