Peninsula Symphonic Band Performs at Anderson Dock

Ephraim’s historic Anderson Dock will host an outdoor concert by the Peninsula Symphonic Band on July 5. The performance, in honor of the Fourth of July holiday weekend, is free and open to the public from 7 – 8 pm. The night’s repertoire includes several traditional marches, a salute to the Armed Forces, a Big Band tribute, music from the film Magnificent Seven and a variety of other numbers.

Concertgoers are encouraged to bring a chair or blanket and make themselves comfortable on the grass or pavement of Anderson Dock, located at the corner of Water Street (Highway 42) and 3083 Anderson Lane. In the event of rain, the concert will be held at the Ephraim Village Hall.

The 50-piece Peninsula Symphonic Band is a community band comprised of volunteer musicians from Algoma to northern Door County. The Peninsula Symphonic Band welcomes musicians of all skill levels. For more information visit PeninsulaSymphonicBand.org.
