Peninsula Symphonic Band to Perform ‘Celebrate Water II’

The Peninsula Symphonic Band will present Celebrate Water II – a free concert of water-themed and patriotic music – on July 22, 7:30 pm, at Sister Bay’s Waterfront Park. Under the direction of Jason Palmer, this 45-member adult community band will perform music from Pirates of the Caribbean, “Under the Sea,” “Victory at Sea,” popular Sousa marches and more. 

The band rehearses on Monday evenings April to July, and September to December, at Sturgeon Bay High School and is always looking for new members. No audition is required; just attend. Fall rehearsals will start Sept. 9. Contact Palmer at [email protected] to learn more.
