PENINSULA SYMPHONIC BAND’S UPCOMING PERFORMANCES

The Peninsula Symphonic Band will perform an outdoor concert July 4, 7 pm, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 7973 Hwy 57 in Baileys Harbor, ahead of the town’s fireworks display.

The concert will include patriotic selections, Sousa marches, exciting music from popular movies and a salute to composer John Williams’ 90th birthday with performances of some of his best-known music.

The Peninsula Symphonic Band is a community band that welcomes high school and adult musicians and currently includes 70 local musicians. Future performances include a July 28 concert at Waterfront Park in Sister Bay and an Aug. 6 salute to the U.S. Coast Guard at the Maritime Museum in Sturgeon Bay.Visit peninsulasymphonicband.org or email [email protected] to find out more.
