Performing Arts Summer Day Camp

Door County Medical Center’s Art on the Wild Side Day Camp for children offers weeks of fun at the Peg Egan Performing Arts Center, the Southern Door Community Auditorium and Algoma’s Perry Park.

Art on the Wild Side offers a free visual and performing arts summer day camp for children ages 6-12, focusing on music, art and health using performance, demonstrations and other fun activities. Children are challenged while building friendships, embracing diverse experiences and learning new skills. Each day of the week children have the opportunity to focus on different visual and performing arts activities.

Art on the Wild Side features some of Door County’s finest visual and performing artists as facilitators.

Activities include Paint Me a Song; Broadway Song Birds; Jewelry Making; The Beat & Beyond; All That Jazz; Songwriting for Kids; Fiber Arts/Puppet Making and a Puppet Show; Kids Chef Day; and Dream Pillows.

Camps are offered June 11-15 at Peg Egan PAC; July 2-6 at Perry Park; and July 9-13 and July 16-20 at Southern Door Auditorium. All camps run from 9 to 11 am. Registration is limited, call early to reserve a spot. To register call 920.493.5979.
