Watch the Perseid Meteor Showers with DPAS

Door Peninsula Astronomical Society (DPAS) will host public viewing of the Perseid meteor shower on three nights: Tuesday, Aug. 11, Wednesday Aug. 12 and Thursday August 13 from 9:30 to 11:30 pm. A lawn lounge chair works well for laying back to watch the sky for the meteors. Some members will be there to point out objects with green lasers. Everyone is asked to bring face masks and maintain distance between small groups. Viewing will be scattered around the Stargarden, and restrooms are available inside the Astronomy Center.
