Photography of Southeast Asia at The Meadows

This month the Meadows Art Gallery will again feature the photography of Dennis Connolly. His work, no matter the subject, is portraiture. He takes viewers to places and introduces them to the people and culture in a very personal way. He shows “up close and personal” the details that make his visual studies so important.

For this exhibit Connolly’s focus is “The Mekong People and Place, Vietnam and Cambodia.” As he did with his show of Cuba, he goes beyond the surface and gives a glimpse of the people.

Connolly will give a brief presentation at a reception on Oct. 9, 2 – 4 pm. He will tell of the “behind the pictures” story. This show will be up from Oct. 1 to 30.

The Meadows Gallery is located in Scandia Village, off Highway 57 in Sister Bay. Go to Scandia Village’s main entrance and enter under the portico. Turn right at the main hallway and you’re at the Meadows Gallery. For more information call 920.854.4416 or 920.854.2317.
