Sturgeon Bay Winter Fleet Lays Up

Great Lakes freighters have been slinking through the ice-chunked waters of Sturgeon Bay over the past week. Trusty tugs guide and thread their passage. Motorists, layed up on open bridges, marvel as these great and noble ships slowly glide by, while photographers, on land or up high, capture the vessels’ return to their winter port at Fincantieri Bay Shipbuilding
