The Piazza at Sonny’s has opened with a full craft beer flight, specialty appetizers, and live music scenically nestled on the waterfront alongside the historic Michigan Street bridge. The outdoor, scenic setting will support a summer-long series of live music with comfortable seating, a custom-built fire table, and a selection of beers, ciders, and other beverages.
“We wanted to create a gathering place where people can come relax and enjoy the waterfront,” says Piazza owner Jason Estes. “Our waterfront is perfect for sampling a regional craft beer, listening to live music, and enjoying specialized appetizers or desserts.”
“Our live music schedule has something for everyone,” says Jim Finney, manager. “From a local metal band to a string quartet—our schedule is meant to attract everyone who enjoys music.”
Estes continues, “The Piazza experience is meant to be a contemporary, relaxed atmosphere that welcomes families coming ashore from a day on the boat or the couple touring on Harleys.”
Piazza at Sonny’s will be open weekends this spring and everyday in the summer. A full drink and appetizer menu and a summer music schedule will be available soon at SonnysPiazza.com.
