Pike Hike at Crossroads

Crossroads at Big Creek will screen Door County History – stories of the peninsula’s native people and European settlers – on March 29, 2 pm, as its Friday Film.

Take a chance on seeing pike on March 30 during the annual Pike Hike at 10 am. Chances are slim, but hikes during the past three years have proven fruitful in spotting this impressive fish. Wear footwear that can get wet, and meet at the Collins Learning Center.

The Door Peninsula Astronomical Society will meet on April 2, 7 pm, at the Stonecipher Astronomy Center, where Gary Henklemann will present “Genesis of the Apollo Program.” Visitors are welcome.

The Door County Master Gardeners Association will continue its free lecture series on April 2, 7 pm, with Nate Bremer of Solaris Farms presenting “Woody Peonies: The Little Shrub with Big Flowers” in the Collins Learning Center.

The Collins Learning Center, 2041 Michigan St. in Sturgeon Bay, is open 2-4 pm daily and during scheduled events.
