Sevastopol’s girls basketball team improved its season record to 2-0 following a 54-27 non-conference home victory Thursday against Hilbert.
The Pioneers, who led 29-16 at halftime, had three players end up scoring in double figures. Katie Spude tallied a game-high 16 points, which included four baskets behind the arc. Kayla Ranly added 14 points and Naomi Rikkola scored 11 more.
Sevastopol returns to action Monday with a non-conference home game against Two Rivers.
