Pipka’s New Collection Available

Nesting Friends Santa (11″)

The 2008 Collection of Pipka Santas, Angel and Madonna have started to arrive at Pipka’s of Door County. “I love all of them, and I’m waiting to see if my collectors pick the same ones,” Pipka says.

The 2008 Collection consists of four Memories of Christmas 11” Santas – Cold North Santa, Julenissen of Norway, Nesting Friends Santa and Bell Ringer Father Christmas. In addition, the Artists Choice (available in June) is Japanese Father Snow, who wears a resplendent traditional costume and has a friend monkey with him. This year’s angel is the Angel of Christmas, and the Madonna is Our Lady of Prayer. Sure to be a favorite is the second in a series of five Santas in different modes of transportation. For 2008, it’s Santa’s Red Truck, and he’s accompanied by many dog friends. The truck and Santa will arrive at Pipka’s doorstep in June. There’s also a new Nativity crèche (available in August) for the many collectors who have wanted a scaled-down (10.75” tall) set. There are four new 5” World of Santas: Czech Republic, Poland, Switzerland and the United States.

As always, favorites from the previous year or two have been recreated as 6” Reflections, 4” Stories of Christmas Ornaments, and 3” Miniatures.
