Mark calendars for May 23, 9:30 am – 1:30 pm – the annual Settlement Shops plant sale (and more) and the start of the farmers market season.
A wide variety of locally grown plants, annuals, perennials, hanging baskets, vegetable plants, many types of tomatoes, trees, shrubs and bushes will be offered. Along with the plant sale, a farmers market selling fresh vegetables in season, many organics, lavender and lemon bath products, home-baked artisan breads and Door County jams & jellies, and handmade pottery including garden sculptures will all be on display along the path that circles the Settlement Shops. Local businesses include Salzeider Landscaping, Sully’s Produce, Pat’s Patch, Crusty Uprising, Door County Natural Creations and Door County Lavender and Lemon, and more.
