Department of Natural Resources Secretary Cathy Stepp and other dignitaries dedicated Peninsula State Park Golf Course’s new short course on Aug. 2. The short course is a six-hole course designed to introduce youth, people with disabilities and adults with no experience to the sport of golf.

The short course was designed and constructed thanks to $500,000 in donations from the Peninsula Golf Association – which operates the existing 18-hole course at Peninsula State Park – and other groups and private donors. For more information visit peninsulagolf.org.
