Play-Reading Series Goes Interstellar

Peninsula Players Theatre’s winter play-reading series, The Play’s the Thing, will continue April 4, 7 pm, at Björklunden with an in-person reading – and a virtual audio-recording option – of A Rock Sails By, a new play by Sean Grennan.

Inspired by a real interstellar visitor, Grennan introduces audiences to an astrophysicist who’s trying to bring science and faith into balance while mourning the loss of her husband and reconnecting with her daughter.  

In-person attendance will be limited to 80 patrons, and attendees must be fully vaccinated (including eligible boosters) and wear a mask at all times. Proof of vaccination, photo ID and tickets will be checked at the door.
