Age: 58

Occupation: Retired teacher

Current handicap: 18 (has been as low as a 12)

Home town: Fish Creek and Palm Coast, FL

Home course: Peninsula and Grand Haven in Palm Coast, FL

Years playing the game: I played a bit as a kid, but didn’t take it up seriously until 1992.

Hole-In-One?: Yes, but it was at a small, executive course, maybe 75-yards.

Best 18-hole score: 75 at Peninsula about 10 years ago. It was a cool, windy day in October and I was playing with Paul (my husband), Harley Holt, and Doug Ferdon. I was just trying to keep up and stay out of their way. Paul said to me at 18 tee, ‘Mynn, if you par 18, I think you’ll break 80,’ which I thought was the kiss of death. But I birdied 18 and ended up with a 75.

Favorite golf memory: Probably Paul’s “hole-in-three.” Shane Kwaterski was visiting us in Florida. We were at a par 3 and Paul hit his first shot out of play. He teed it up again and put it in the hole. Without hesitation, he turned to us and said ‘well that’s a helluva par.’

Nicest golf course ever played: Peninsula and Ocean Hammock in Palm Coast, FL

Favorite pro golfer. Why?: Seve Ballesteros – he’s such an exciting player – he has intensity, fire, and imagination.

Fantasy foursome: Seve Ballesteros, Camilo Villegas, and Jose Maria Olazabal

Who’s your caddy? (if you could choose one): Tom Watson

Golf Accomplishments Most Proud Of: Winning the Resorter’s twice and managing Peninsula for the past seven years.

Golf tip to share: I have two. Soft hands, and use your imagination.

Strengths: Chipping

Weaknesses: Driving

What’s in the bag?: Callaways and an old Ping putter

What do you like to do when not playing golf: Draw, ride my bike, and yoga
