Favorite course ever played?: The Gauntlet in North Carolina

Share a favorite golf memory with us: I was working at what is now the U.S. Bank Tournament at Brown Deer Park as a standard bearer and walked 18 holes with Skip Kendall, Omar Uresti and Ken Green. It was fun standing right there listening to everything they talked about, how they thought around the course and watching them hit the shots that they just talked about with their caddie.

Golf accomplishment most proud of: Double Eagle on hole 14 at Idlewild

Favorite pro player (past or present – and why?): Arnold Palmer – Loved his aggressive style of play and his attitude towards life.

Favorite foursome OR fantasy foursome: Myself, My Nephew Jacob, My Dad and Arnold Palmer

Who’s your caddy (if you could choose one): Bruce Edwards* – What a great story of a man who embraced life and all that it throws at you right to the end.

Your game strengths: The mulligan and gimmie putt. Seriously though, I would say 100-115 yards, but every day I find different strengths and more things to work on

What needs work: Driver – it used to be my best club but now my scores are dictated by how well or poorly I play from the tee.

Golf tip to share: Soft hands, make sure you don’t grip the club too tightly – it will ruin every shot.

What’s in the bag?: Taylor Made R7 irons, Taylor Made R9 Driver, Taylor Made 3 & 5 wood, Nike rescue club, Odyssey 2-ball putter

Interests outside of golf: Spending time on the water boating, anytime with friends and family

* Bruce Edwards was Tom Watson’s long-time caddy who lost his battle with Lou Gehrig’s disease and was the inspiration for John Feinstein’s book Caddy For Life: The Bruce Edwards Story.
