How long have you been playing: Since I was about 12 years old

Best 18-hole score: 76 at Idlewild – about 16 years ago. I was playing with my brother, Jeff and it was one of the last times I played with my mom (who has been suffering from Ahlzeimer’s since then).

Favorite course ever played?: I love playing Peninsula in the fall, but I’ll have to say Whistling Straits.

Share a favorite golf memory with us: I have so many good memories of playing golf with my mom. She was an awesome athlete and a great golfer – she taught me how to play golf (and tennis). One of my favorite memories was caddying for her at Brown Deer.

Favorite pro player: Freddie Couples because he’s Mr. Smooth. He’s always relaxed and has a smile on his face…And he’s never worn a golf glove.

Favorite foursome: Bob Manson, Tim Callahan, and Fred Anderson

What needs work: Putting

Golf tip to share: Never leave a birdie putt short.

What’s in the bag?: I just got new clubs – first new set in 25 years. Titleist AP1’s, TaylorMade driver, Ray Cook wedges, and Ping putter.

Interests outside of golf: Spending time with my family, raising my two girls, helping out in the community, and fishing vacations with Stretch and Paul.
