Share a favorite golf memory with us: I was a junior on the high school golf team in the early ‘60s. I was an athlete – but not the best golfer – but I was OK. At one of the conference meets I had the highest score – I think I shot a 94. My friends who were all jocks like me (but not on the golf team) were teasing me the next day about how poorly I played. I asked them “Where are you guys going to be on Thursday at 12:30?” They answered “We’ll be in biology.” I shot back “I’ll be on the golf course at Sectionals.”
Favorite pro player: Craig Stadler “The Walrus” because he’s built like me!

Who’s Your Caddy: Tom Polster – because he knows

Interests outside of golf: I’m a huge sports fan, so I love playing and watching sports; as a lifetime educator, I continue to take interest in the future of our youth; helping my wife with her quilting; and cutting the lawn.
