Playing Cards to Help Boys and Girls

On Sept. 11 at 6:30 pm, Stone Harbor Resort will host a Casino Night. Tickets are $65 per person and include the first round of chips. The proceeds of this event will go toward renovating the Boys and Girls Club’s new home in downtown Sturgeon Bay. The immediate need is to install a commercial kitchen, which will be used to produce thousands of nutritious meals and healthy snacks for hungry kids.

More than half of the families in the school districts served qualify for free or reduced lunch. The Club serves more than 54 percent of the elementary school population in the Sturgeon Bay area.
