Plein Air Festival Announces Dockside Quick Paint Details

The Peninsula School of Art and The Hardy Gallery present the Dockside Quick Paint at Door County Plein Air Festival 2013. Artists of every painting medium are invited to create plein air works on July 27 from 9 – 11 am during the 7th annual competition.

The first place artist receives an invitation to be a featured artist in the 2014 Door County Plein Air Festival. All award winners will receive art supplies courtesy of Artists Guild in Sturgeon Bay.

Finished dockside painters’ works are exhibited for sale at Peninsula School of Art on July 27, 6 – 8 pm, during the public “Open Door Celebration.” Attendees are invited to vote for the top three dockside painters, with awards announced at 7:30 pm.
