Plum Bottom Holds Annual Jewelry Showcase

Plum Bottom Pottery & Gallery invites everyone to their annual jewelry showcase on Oct. 9, 11 am to 4 pm. Plum Bottom will showcase work from their more than 15 unique, nationally collected jewelry artists. The gallery will be bursting with new work in a dazzling array of styles. Come and enjoy a glass of Von Stiehl wine, light hors dā€™ oeuvres, and see what Plum Bottom has to offer.

New for the 2016 season at Plum Bottom is artist Liz Oppenheim. Oppenheim uses a traditional Japanese hand sculpting technique using beeswax to create flowing organic forms that she casts in both sterling silver and gold. The result is one-of-a-kind pieces with graceful lines for everyday wear.

Luana Coonen accentuates the natural world though her jewelry and creates dynamic pieces of wearable art for the nature lover. She uses found objects such as butterfly wings or snakeskin and related and recycled metals in her pieces.
