Plum Bottom Welcomes New Potter for Latest Show

Plum Bottom Pottery & Gallery invites the community to Art Show 11: The Pottery Showcase on Nov. 4, 10 am to 4 pm. Pat Black, Eric Hendrick, Noelle VanHendrick and Lynn Wood are the featured artists.

Pat Black, Plum Bottom’s newest potter, will show her latest collection. Each piece of Black’s is a one-of-a-kind tribute to the nature that surrounds her. Her forms are accented with bits of nature collected on long hikes around Lake Superior. “I felt compelled to bring the essence of nature’s canvas to my pottery. The stones on the shore of Lake Superior are magnificent with such a variety and variance in color. Polished by the waves and ready to use, they made their way on to my pots.”

The works of Eric Hendrick and Noelle VanHendrick incorporate whimsical designs in their fun and functional pieces.

Lynn Wood’s dazzling color palette make her collection an easy addition to any kitchen or dining room. Her slab-build, textured pieces are fun to hold and to use.

Come to Plum Bottom and enjoy a glass of Von Stiehl’s finest wine and be the first to see Pat Black’s work.

Plum Bottom is open 10 am – 4 pm, Tuesday through Saturday from November to April. The gallery is located 15 minutes north of Sturgeon Bay or five minutes south of Egg Harbor on Highway 42 then east on Plum Bottom Road (1 mile) to 4999 Plum Bottom Road.
