PMF Announces February Fest Details

The Peninsula Music Festival’s (PMF) February Fest – its three-concert, winter chamber-music series – will kick off Feb. 5, when violinist Alex Ayers and Paul Hauer, playing violin and piano, will present a program featuring Mozart sonatas.

The Feb. 12 concert will welcome back hornist Richard Britsch and pianist Christi Zuniga to collaborate on a program of works by Mozart, Franz Strauss, Mendelssohn and Richard Strauss.

The final concert on Feb. 19 will feature Washington Island native and virtuoso Jonathan Bass, the recipient of PMF’s 2019 George Verheyden Memorial College Scholarship. Bass recently returned from an intensive musical semester abroad in Paris and will perform an all-French program.

The concerts will all be held at 2 pm at the Kress Pavilion, 7845 Church St. in Egg Harbor. Tickets ($30 for adults and $10 for children) are limited and can be purchased at musicfestival.com or by calling 920.854.4060. A series subscription is also available for purchase by phone.
