PODCAST: Shipwrecked Update and the Story Behind the Photo of the Year

When Brett Kosmider pulled out his camera on main street in Fish Creek last July, he didn’t anticipate getting a photo to define the pandemic summer. But that’s what he got when Matthew Moellendorf showed up in a suit and a mask. Moellendorf and Kosmider join the Podcast to share the story behind the photo of the year, which was recently awarded second place in the Wisconsin Newspaper Association’s Better Newspaper Contest.

The Pulse won five awards in the contest, including one first place award.
