Polka Dots at Family Art Day

For this month’s Family Art Day on Feb. 16, the Peninsula School of Art is taking inspiration from the “queen of polka dots,” Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama. Enjoy a reading of the book Yayoi Kusama: From Here to Infinity!; pose in a funky, dot-filled photo booth with lots of polka-dot accessories; and create paintings inspired by Kusama’s well-known dot paintings. Drop in anytime between 9 am and 12 pm.

Family Art Days are held monthly, usually on the third Saturday, from September through May. They welcome families with children ages three to 17. Family Art Days are always free, and art materials are provided.
