Pond Hockey Tournament Registration Now Open

Who has hockey on their mind in June? The organizers of the Door County Pond Hockey Tournament.

Registrations for the 2019 tournament are already rolling in after 46 teams competed in the 2018 event. Registration for returning teams opened June 1, with new teams eligible to sign up June 15.

Teams can compete in nine divisions at all levels of competition, including a women’s division. The tournament is capped at 60 total teams. Games are played on 15 rinks created on Kangaroo Lake in Baileys Harbor, where a warming tent offers food and drinks for spectators.

To register for the Feb. 9 tourney, download a registration form at doorcountypondhockey.com and return it to the address provided. Forms postmarked June 15 or earlier will get priority.
