Popelka & Trenchard Display at Plymouth Art Center

Door County artists, Jeremy Popelka and Stephanie Trenchard have been making art together for over 30 years. As husband and wife and studio partners, they aid and assist each other while steadily maintaining their individuality. Their combined efforts will be exhibited at the Plymouth Art Center in a two-person show titled “Convergence.”

“Convergence” is a cross-section of their individual bodies of work. Trenchard’s glass castings are narrative with sculpted and painted glass inclusions. Her oil paintings straddle the genres of abstract color studies and landscape. Popelka’s work varies from brightly colored hand-blown Venetian vessels to sculptural studies in cast glass and metal.

The show will run Nov. 30 – Jan. 18 with an Artists’ Open Reception on Nov. 30, 4 – 7 pm.
