Poppin’ New Year’s Eve in Sister Bay

Celebrate New Year’s Eve on the ice and under the glitter of fireworks in Sister Bay on Dec. 31 for Poppin’ New Year’s Eve. Come to the Teresa K. Hilander Community Ice Rink from 4 to 9 pm for fireworks, skating and s’mores.

The fireworks show will begin at 8 pm. The rink is open for ice skaters of all ages, and the bonfire will be burning to keep the chill at bay. S’mores ingredients will be available for purchase to make your own around the fire. Pick-up games are encouraged, and activities for all ages will be available. Food and drinks available for sale by the Top o’ the Thumb Snowmobile Club to raise money for the upkeep of northern Door County snowmobile trails.

A limited supply of figure and hockey skates, helmets and hockey sticks are available for rent; skaters are encouraged to bring their own equipment. For more information, call 920.854.4118 or email [email protected].
