One Year Later: Positive COVID Cases Then and Now

Also: A look at current transmission rates by school district boundaries

The Wisconsin Department of Public Health continues to track positive COVID-19 cases not only by county, but by town, village and city. The level of data – such as the total number of tests, active versus recovered cases, and deaths – is not as comprehensive as it is for counties as a whole; only positive cases are reported for a given municipality.

The numbers below show the cumulative positive testing totals by municipality since testing began in March 2020. We published last year’s numbers at this time. Below, we’ve included last year’s numbers with where we are today, according to the latest figures.

Also below, you’ll find the latest numbers on community transmission rates by school district.
