POTAWATOMI THE FOCUS OF NEXT DC TALKS PROGRAM

Joseph P. Daniel Sr. and Starla Thompson will deliver the Door County Talks presentation “Potawatomi Nation through Time” on Feb. 19, 10 am, at Door Community Auditorium (DCA). They will guide the audience through a timeline of the Potawatomi people, detailing the major events in their history from pre-European contact to the present day.

Door County Talks are presented this year in conjunction with UW-Green Bay’s First Nations Program and the Door County Civility Project. This year, to allow for more spacing than DCA’s lobby affords, the talks will be held on the auditorium’s main stage, and to maximize COVID-19 safety, there will be no coffee and pastry service this year.

Door County Talks are free, but advance registration is required to attend in person. All talks will also be livestreamed on DCA’s Facebook page. Find out more and register at dcauditorium.org, or call 920.868.2728. The most current COVID-19-mitigation protocols are also detailed at dcauditorium.org.
