Pre-Marital and Student Loan Counseling Offered by Money Management Counselors

Thanks in part to a grant from the Door County Community Foundation’s Health and Human Needs Fund during the 2015-16 cycle, Money Management Counselors powered by FI$C, will provide one-on-one, confidential pre-marital financial counseling in Door County. While each year, a few couples do seek assistance from the agency to develop a plan for sharing finances after marriage, this funding enables the nonprofit agency to reach out to all area churches and make them aware of this focused service.

In addition, an emerging new issue will be addressed through the Student Loan Counseling supported by this grant. Pustaver will become a certified Student Loan Counselor in December 2015 through the National Foundation for Credit Counseling. She will be one of the first counselors trained in the country.
