Presentation, Dinner and a Movie

Kathy Navis invites everyone to visit Greens N Grains Natural Food Store and Café on Nov. 20 for a presentation on women’s health and environmental toxicity at 1 pm followed by dinner and a movie at 7 pm.

Dr. Nicole James from Sturgeon Bay’s Center for Optimal Health will speak about the impact of everyday household items on health. She plans to detail the overall health and cancer risk imposed on the unknowing user by many of the typical cleaning and maintenance products used around the home. She will also discuss natural alternatives available and outline an approach to daily living that supports hormone balancing and detoxification.

Each month Dr. James visits Greens N Grains in Egg Harbor to share healthy, nutrition-based approaches to wellbeing. There is no charge to attend.

At 7 pm on Nov. 20 Citizen Koch will be screened. The documentary details the rise of the Tea Party in the aftermath of the U.S. Supreme Court’s 2010 Citizens United ruling.

Greens N Grains Cafe offers a natural and organic dinner special each evening before the film screenings. Enjoy soup, salad, a fresh baked roll and a cup of tea for $7.50, available from 6 pm on. The film screenings are free, but loft area seating is limited to 30 people. Dinner and film reservations are advisable. RSVP by calling 920.868.9999 or emailing [email protected].
