Prevea Opens Community COVID Vaccination Clinic

The Prevea Community COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic – the first of its kind in northeast Wisconsin and one of the largest in the state – opened Jan. 18 inside UW-Green Bay’s Kress Events Center. It has the capacity to provide vaccinations to more than 10,500 people weekly as doses become available and as the Wisconsin Department of Health Services announces additional phases of vaccine eligibility.

Other Prevea vaccination clinics will become operational soon. Dr. Ashok Rai, president and CEO of Prevea Health, said, “Once operational – and with the support of federal and state government on vaccine supply – we will have the capacity to vaccinate nearly 20,000 people in Wisconsin each week.”Appointments will be required for all clinic locations. Prevea encourages patients and members of the public to create a MyPrevea account at myprevea.com because this is where vaccine scheduling will be available. You do not have to be a Prevea patient to sign up. Visit prevea.com/vaccine or call 833.344.4373 to find out more.
