Priced to Please

One of the best opportunities for holiday gift shopping comes around again with the Friends of Door County Libraries Holiday Book Sale on Dec. 6 from 9 am to 1 pm. Held in the basement of the Sturgeon Bay Library, 107 S. 4th Ave. in Sturgeon Bay, this event offers a chance to select gifts for all the booklovers on your list.

There will be a variety of quality, like-new books in a broad range of fields including fiction, non-fiction, specialty, coffee table and children’s literature, all priced to please the thriftiest of elves.

The Friends organization receives thousands of donated used books each year and volunteers carefully cull the very best as gift-giving selections for this popular event. Proceeds from this sale help to fund approximately $20,000 annually in programs, materials and activities that benefit all of the Door County libraries.
