Prince of Peace Lutheran Church Receives Kaleidoscope Fund Grant

On Nov. 6, the Kaleidoscope Fund, a granting program established by Lutheran Church Extension Fund (LCEF), announced the 2017 grant recipients. The fund awarded a total of $601,000 to 11 Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod (LCMS) ministries throughout the United States.

Among the ministries receiving grants includes Prince of Peace Lutheran Church of Sturgeon Bay for expanding the ministry of their Community Dinner at the Oasis. The dinner feeds 60-80 people for a freewill offering on a regular basis.

Consistent with LCEF’s mission, the grant seeks to fund ministry ideas that are related to the expansion, enrichment and energizing of Christ’s Church.

“LCEF is pleased to award this year’s Kaleidoscope Fund grants that will impact ministries across the church,” said Rev. Bart Day, LCEF president and CEO. “We are blessed to see these dollars put to work launching new and expanding existing programs.”
