Produce, Plants and Other Products

Plans are well underway for the upcoming season of the Jacksonport Farmers Market. The market will begin June 9 at Lakeside Park in Jacksonport and will be held every Tuesday from 9 am to 1 pm through October, as weather permits. There are nearly 30 booths registered to participate this season hosting a nice variety of fresh farm produce, flowers, plants, home-baked goods and handcrafted items by local Door County growers, artists and craftsmen.

Due to recent work at Lakeside Park the market booths will be set up further back in the park on opening day and through early June. Folks can access the market near the back parking to get to market booths due to new grass growing along the Hwy. 57 perimeter.

Entertainment is scheduled to take place during some of the Tuesday Jacksonport Farmers Market sessions, weather permitting. Marybeth Mattson will play for several Tuesdays in June, July, August and September. Jerry Voelker will play July 14 & Aug. 11 and Birch Creek will be featured July 28 & Aug. 4.
