Program on Water Protection and Economics

David Naftzger – an expert on the economy and how our water is affected by it – will present a program about water July 11, 5 pm, at the Kress Pavilion in Egg Harbor. Refreshments will be provided. Naftzger is the executive director of the Chicago-headquartered Conference of Great Lakes St. Lawrence Governors and Premiers, which unites the chief executives of Great Lakes-bordering states and provinces to protect the world’s largest freshwater system and grow the regional economy. He’ll discuss efforts that affect the Great Lakes as a whole, some issues that affect Door County and what his organization is doing to help.
