Gov. Tony Evers has signed a contract for $225,418 in improvements to 400 feet of shoreline along Highway 42 in Ephraim. Work by Michels Corporation will begin April 1 and last approximately two weeks. The highway will remain open with flagging operations during the project.
The project will stabilize the shoreline adjacent to the highway by installing buried concrete-block wall and reinforcing the riprap adjacent to Ephraim Creek.
