• Hunting and Trapping allowed from Oct. 15 through the Thursday before Memorial Day
• Hunting not allowed after 11 pm
• Hunters can enter the park an hour before the opening of the season
• Target shooting not allowed in parks
• Non-hunting visitors allowed in hunting areas, not required to wear blaze orange
• Hunting prohibited within 50 feet of a roadway’s center
• Illegal to shoot a firearm or shoot an arrow across a paved road. It is legal to shoot a muzzleloader or shotgun loaded with a BB or smaller across an unpaved road.
• Illegal to shoot a firearm within 100 yards of an occupied building
• Legal to shoot across trails that aren’t labeled “designated use” areas
