Protect Yourself from Identity Theft

Door County Women in Business will meet on July 24 at 8 am in the City Hall Community Room for a presentation on identity theft. “One out of six U.S. citizens will experience the nightmare of identity theft. I will outline specific steps individuals can take to help defend against becoming a victim of identity theft and other scams, ”states Chaz Hartl, presenter of the meeting and Group Banking Coordinator at Baylake Bank.

Door County Women in Business meets on the fourth Thursday of every month at various locations throughout the county. Details on upcoming presentations, meeting dates and times can be found on their Facebook Group page. There are no membership fees or attendance policies. A $1 donation is asked to cover snacks and activities. Any working woman in Door County is encouraged to join.
