Public Invited to Door County Art League’s Potluck

On Monday, February 25, Door County Art League (DCAL) members will get together to socialize at a potluck dinner beginning at 6 pm at the Gibraltar Fire Department meeting room. The public is invited; please bring a dish to pass, a plate, and eating utensils.

Following the potluck will be a sketching session. If you wish to participate, bring pencils and a sketchpad, along with an item for a still-life set-up. Also, the February meeting will offer an opportunity to illustrate ways in which the artists expanded on their sketches from the January meeting.

The league’s year-round showcase gallery at Trattoria Dal Santo in Sturgeon Bay has added pieces for a special exhibit entitled “Winter in Door County.” The restaurant and gallery are located at 147 North Third Avenue.
