Publishing and Promoting Work

McArdle Library and Write On, Door County announce a special presentation by author Victor Foia, author of the Dracula Chronicles. Foia will address his approach to the craft of writing, as well as self-publishing and promoting his work. Among the topics he will cover are producing paperback, audio and eBook editions of his books. The presentation will be given June 11, 7 pm, at McArdle Library Auditorium, 2392 Highway F, Baileys Harbor. The program is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.

Victor T. Foia was born in Transylvania where he studied theoretical physics at the Babes-Bolyai University. When he was 22, Foia defected to Italy and eventually immigrated to the United States. After graduating from the University of Illinois and the University of Dallas, he embarked on a career as a corporate executive, culminating in the position of CEO of an international corporation. Presently, he is engaged full time in writing historical fiction. His interest in Dracula dates from the age of six, when he first visited his compatriot’s birthplace, only a hundred miles from his own. Soon, this interest became a lasting passion for research into Dracula’s life.

He is the author of Son of the Dragon and Empire of the Crescent Moon, the first two books in the seven-volume series “Dracula Chronicles.”
