‘Pulse’ and ‘Door County Living’ Writer Wins Award

Gary Jones received recognition for his non-fiction book Gentleman’s Dresser in the Wisconsin Writers Association (WWA) First Chapter competition. The award was presented at the banquet on May 3 at the Wisconsin Writers Association Author Showcase in La Crosse, Wis.

WWA was founded in 1948 by Professor Robert E. Gard of the University of Wisconsin. The purpose of the organization is to draw together the many diverse creative writing elements in Wisconsin and the surrounding states, and to provide an outlet for creative talent.
