“Farmers could not have had better weather for chopping corn last week. The dry and mild conditions allowed growers to harvest up to 63 percent of their corn for silage as of this past weekend. The weekly crop report from the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture noted that the harvest was 14 days ahead of last year and one day ahead of the five-year average.” ~ Wisconsin Ag Connection
